La Roca: A Culinary Gem in Philadelphia with Remarkable Service

The first time at La Roca our experience wasn’t so great but we still decided to give it another try and I must say it was worth it. We had a great experience thanks to our amazing server, Ashanti. She was friendly, attentive, and very professional. Ashanti knew the menu inside and out, especially the daily specials and also added the upcoming specials, her enthusiasm made our choices even better. The only downside was the long wait for our drinks; it took quite a while to get our double shots and margaritas. However, we understand the place was packed, so the wait was understandable. Ashanti kept checking up on us, which made the situation much better. Despite this, we really enjoyed our meal and service. We will definitely return and ask for Ashanti to be our server again!

The gringo tacos were delicious, the watermelon margarita was great. The empanadas were okay. They could have been seasoned more. Overall the waitress was nice, the service was fast, and we didn't have to wait very long for food and drinks. We sat upstairs on the rooftop patio which was really nice. I would go back again

I recently visited La Roca and was lucky enough to be served by a bartender named Nate. Nate was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone at the bar felt welcome. His drink-making skills were top-notch; every cocktail he crafted was perfectly balanced and delicious. Nate also had great recommendations and was more than happy to customize drinks to suit our preferences. His positive attitude and professionalism made the evening truly enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting La Roca and asking for Nate if you want an awesome bar experience! NATE YOU ROCK DUDE!!!

Had the privilege of hosting a gathering for 11 people and we all had a lovely time. Exceptional hospitality from Stephen, who reached out prior and was very accommodating. The margaritas are great!

Taco Tuesday was a blast. Got the gringo tacos which were delicious. The bartender Maria took care of us and she did a great job. Service was on point and the food came out quick so overall great experience. The happy hour deal was really good too cheap beers and tequila shots gotta love that
